Terms of use

These terms govern the use of Report PDF Studio (the "App"), a Salesforce managed package and its optional chart renderer service, provided by the publisher of Report PDF Studio ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you accept these terms on behalf of your organization ("you").

1. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the App in your Salesforce orgs for your internal business purposes, for the term of your subscription or trial. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or copy the App, except where the law allows it.

2. Salesforce

The App runs on the Salesforce Platform. Your use of Salesforce is governed by your agreement with Salesforce. The App respects the Salesforce permissions of each user; you are responsible for the permissions, sharing settings and report folders in your org, and for the recipients your users choose.

3. Chart renderer service

The optional chart renderer is off by default. When you turn it on, you instruct us to process chart labels and totals as described in the privacy policy. We may limit the request rate to keep the service available. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it; when the renderer is unavailable the App draws the chart as columns.

4. Your data

Your data stays yours. Reports, PDFs and job records stay in your Salesforce org. You are responsible for the lawful use of the data that you print or send.

5. Fees

Fees, if any, are those shown in your AppExchange order or our quote. Trials are free for their stated period.

6. Support

Support is provided as described on the support page.

7. Warranty and liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may end these terms if you materially breach them. Sections 4, 7 and 9 survive termination.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of our registered office, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force. Contact: the support contact in the AppExchange listing.
